Those wheels scream 90s

Ye’, that one had been modified slightly. De’jaffa’d front and side indicators, wheels, etc...
The standard one looked like this when it left the showroom back in the day.
((what a silly saying “back in the day”, but nevermind))

I wouldn’t mind getting my hands on a Mk1 ST or RS. I just love early the mid 2000s compact cars like the Golf Mk4, Astra and the Focus Mk1.

The Mk1 RS was good for the Focus but I’ve got to say the Mk2 looks better.
An Autocar article for some light reading and picture ‘pron’.

I’ve got one of those! Mines post-facelift though.

Oooh, an alien Focus! Spot the differences.

Shame you never got the second gen in the US though

That’s fairly similar to the Euro Focus. The facelifts and the American redesign were rather.. meh.

It sounded great also.
The guy I know got rid of his green Mk2 RS last month for a one year old Ford Focus Mk3 ST 2 diesel. :(
The RS had 100,000miles on the clock and he wanted shot.

The thing I took from the article I posted earlier in a reply was that Ford wanted to make 8,000 Mk2 RS and that over 4,000 came to the U.K. Alone.
That’s crazy that we in the U.K. Took over 50% of all Ford Focus Mk2 RS built.

He should’ve kept it. The RS is a future classic.
